THIS IS NOT AN ANTING-ANTING
We believe that we are already protected by God's Presence living in us.
But this medal is simply a beautiful and powerful reminder of this Presence in us.
St. Benedict is very special for me because I was born on his feast day.
Because he answered God's call, thousands of monks also gave their life to the Lord through a holy life of prayer and work, or "Ora et Labora".
Through the St. Benedict's medal, you also aspire to offer to God your prayers and your works to the Lord.
The medal is not yet blessed. The Church discourages "blessed" objects to be sold. And I believe it should be the owner who should have the object blessed. This is important. Because it is your faith that should do this act of asking a blessing. Because in reality, it isn't just the medal that is being blessed, it is you, the owner, who is asking for the blessing.
