Just this day, during the Homily, it just hit me why The Companion book is called such… because it is indeed a companion. It reminded me of who is my constant - Jesus and his living Word. I have been in my driest season and I’ve been far away from my Christian friends and I’m no longer in service and now that I wanted to get back on track, in need of guidance and hope, desperate to hear His voice, I decided to get one of this book since aside frim wanting it so much before (I couldn’t afford one), I’ve seen it as very handy and I no longer need to carry another journal notebook (which I am very fond of and being a perfectionist it leads me nowhere in having my separate journal notebook, I wanted to make it raw and simple this time). Funny and joyful how God can speak to you in extraordinary little ways like i’ve been carrying, seeing the title of the book, but it just hit earlier when the Homily affirms me of what I really needed. Praise God!
